This face-to-face direct service includes the analysis, development, modification, and monitoring of behavior for the purpose of changing an individual's behavior to learn new equivalent replacement skills and to assist the individual in functioning more independently. This therapy can be provided at home, school, or in the community for children under 21 years of age.
This service provides assistance and training in activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and preparation of meals.
Homemakers provide light housekeeping, shopping assistance, meal preparation and other chores.
Companions visit clients in their homes, may serve meals, and may accompany clients on outings.
Respite care provides short-term relief for primary caregivers when the primary caregiver is unavailable due to a brief planned or emergency absence, or when the primary caregiver is temporarily physically unable to provide care. It can be arranged for just an afternoon or for several days or weeks.
